It is almost swimsuit season!  

If you are anything like me and absolutely dread getting in a swimsuit I have some good news, so does every women!  So what I think  is important is to feel comfortable in whatever style swimsuit you choose. 

As a curvy women I have found that support is key as well as having a fun print.   I recently found a very cute swimsuit on Amazon. ( link here) Upopby Vintage Women's Tummy Control One Piece Swimsuit Retro Bathing Suit.  

I love how this swim suit look and feels. It has a lightly padded full coverage bust and a full coverage bottom as well.  I love this becasue weather I am swimming or floating in my own pool, playing with the kids at a water park or beach I feel confident and fully covered. No wardrobe malfunctions in this suit! 

The contrast in the flat black and pokadot print has a very slimming look , but there is also ruching along the abdomen too which not only looks cute but is also slimming as well.  As far as the tummy control I give it a thumbs up. It is not overly tight or uncomfortable at all. The back of this retro swimsuit is not very low which I appreciate.  As far a sizing goes with this, I say it runs true to size.  I wear a size 14-16 so I ordered a 16 and it fits perfectly. 

The price for this swimsuit is under $20 on Amazon.  Which is a really great price.  I recommend checking it out.

                                        Silicone Facial Scrub Pad By  AOMUU


       I recently purchased this set of silicone facial scrubber pads and I am loving them. Well at least one of them since I am only using one right now.

I really like that these have different size exfoliating nubs. The top 1/3 of the pad has fine soft nubs, the center has a little thicker and stiffer nubs and the bottom third has coarser nubs for more exfoliation. I also think really like that I can use any cleanser that I want with these. 

Becasue these pads are silicone they are soft and gentle. The exfoliation is not too coarse or ruff at.  In my opinion this is a gentle way to exfoliate daily. 

The first day I tried this pad I was impressed and a little grossed out at all the makeup it took off. Usually I use a homemade and don't see all the makeup wash off. 

I don't do anything special to clean my  pad I just rinse it off.  I did have some makeup stuck in the little nubs one time but I just used soap and water to remove it.

                                   Christmas Projector  by Andota

I totally forgot to post about the sweet new light projector to go with my outdoor Christmas decorations.  But what is super cool about this projector is that is comes with 10 different slides change the images. How cool is that!  (link to product here)

There are 5 different Christmas/Winter slide. There is a snowflake slide, which happens to be my favorite. There is also a slide with Santa, Frosty, a Christmas tree & bell. The third Christmas slide has a snowflake, a stocking filled with toys, a snowman & Christmas tree. The forth slide is really cute too. It has a present, ornament, bow & candy cane.  The fifth slide has mittens, champagne flutes toasting, a stocking cap & set of candles.

There is a slide that has 4 different size hearts, 3 different Halloween slides that have ghosts, skulls, bats, pumpkins, witches, jack o lanterns & spiders.
Because this can be used indoors or out I can use this for many different occasions.  I still have my Christmas lights up outside but when I take them down we will be using this in our basements with the heart side for Valentines day.  And I know I will be using this both inside and out for Halloween.

This was super easy to set up.  The only difficult part is changing the slides and all that entails is removing two screws. So seriously easy. Once the slide in I  just plug it in a place it where I want. There is a stake that can be screwed in, I have mine screwed in now because it outside.

                                      Soft  and silky Pajama set by Jusfitsu

I had a chance to review this cute Pajama set by Jusfitsu (link here). The set includes a cami, pants and a short robe. I like this shorter style robe, it's like a cardigan length that really just covers up the sexy cami top. The entire set is very comfortable to wear and sleep in.  

The print on these is asian inspired with whimsical dragons.  The material is silky, soft and smooth.  To be clear this is not made form silk but rather  95% Polyester & 5% Spandex.  Regardless I like wearing them.   The care for this pajama set is easy, no special care required! I just wash them in my machine with cold water and tumble dry them in the dryer. I have had no problems with them washing them like this.

I am loving our new LED fish tank light. Not only is it cheaper to run than our old light becasue of the LED lights, but I can choose any color for light! 

It comes with a small thin remote that has so many colors to choose from. I can also control the brightness of the light and turn it off & on with the remote. 

The light fixture is adjustable and even works on our odd shaped corner fish tank!

The light fixture is also very thin so it doesn't take away at all from the beauty of the fish tank or the fish !

Laundry! 

 

I feel like I am constantly doing something with my families laundry.  Seriously! I am either washing it, folding it, putting it away, picking it up, or tripping over it. The main offender is hands down my husband. 

Well since there is no getting around the fact that it has to be done it may as well be done in style! 

That is where this super cute Landry Hamper comes in!  While it was it little difficult to get the plastic inserts in to shape the hamper the finished product is very nice.  

This hamper holds about two loads of laundry. I like that that it is not to bulky becasue I can easily carry it downstairs to my laundry room.  Becasue there are plastic inserts the hamper keeps it shape even when empty.   The hamper is fully lined and even has a drawstring closure. 

I think this is a super cute and useful hamper.

  My New Favortie Lighte to Decorate with are Starry Wire Lights! 

I have been so swept up in the Holiday that I haven' t had many chances to post on my blog.  

Well let me tell you that after Thanksgiving my house has been in the full spirit of Christmas. Since we are in our new home this year decorating has been so much fun.  

If you follow my blog you know I am obsessed with the solar fairy lights, well I found starry/fairy lights that get plugged in and they have been my favorite thing to use when decorating for Christmas!  I found them on Amazon.  String Starry Lights link (here) These lights are so fun and they come with a remote to control brightness and mode.  Call me old fashion but I like the steady mode best.

These tiny LED lights are strung a a very bendable thin wire making them so easy to use because  they are barely noticeable when not plugged in.  But don't be fooled by the size of these lights, they are just as bright as the larger LED Christmas lights.  Oh and unlike other starry/fairy lights I have used these come on a cardboard spool making these very user friendly. If you are familiar with these kinds of lights then you know they tangle easily. 

My first project with these lights was to decorate my faux garland for my living room.  I had bought the garland on clearance last year for such a great price at the hardware store of all places. However the garland had those large colored LED lights on it and that just wasn't going to work with what I had in mind. 

 So I took those lights on and began to wrap the wire lights around the garland. In about 5 minutes I was done.  

I put the garland up on my table that is under our TV.  I added a few of my favorite winter woodland creatures to the table and that was it.  Super easy! 

I am very happy with how it came out.  

I really like that I can turn the lights off with the remote and I don't have to try and reach behind the table to unplug them. 

I also went ahead and ordered some of these lights for my Christmas tree in my living room (yes I have more than one Christmas, 4 actually)

Here is a picture of the lights on my tree.  My tree has a total of 7 strands of Led lights. Three strands of the older LED warm white lights and four these starry light strands. 

We picked out a White Pine this year for our Christmas tree and as you can see or maybe you can't, but these lights are so small and so bright. They really are great.
